Day 111: Boston

Mamfa started the day with a ParkRun at Danehy Park.

It was then a day of walking around Boston. We did the 4km long Freedom Trail which went past sites associated with the War of Independence.

I had a ride on the Democracy Donkey (it is the mascot for the Democrats because Andrew Jackson was called a Jackass by the Republicans so he adopted the donkey as a mascot.

We stopped to check out a busker doing Michael Jackson moves.

There was a short visit to the USS Constitution and up the Bunker Hill Monument.

Finished the day at the Assembly Row festival. Assembly Row is an old ship building yard converted to shops and residences.

There were a variety of musical acts at the festival with a sample below.
