With the Presidential debate over, the Independence Park area was open again so we had a look at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and other buildings associated with the founding of the USA (this is where the original constitution was signed). A few sites were closed and the First Bank was undergoing renovation.




We then wandered back to catch a train to New York.




After arriving in New York to our Uptown accommodation, we did a wander around the area along the Harlem and Hudson Rivers.








Given it is the 9/11 anniversary today, the night photo below shows the memorial light where the twin towers were.
