It was a 1hr bus to Annapolis which is the home of the US Naval Academy. Our AirBnB host is a tour guide at the Academy and gave us a personal tour. It was a very interesting tour. There are around 4,500 students and they all eat at the same time in the mess hall, which is massive! The first years are called plebes and they are only allowed to go through certain doors and along certain paths.

It was then a great evening to have a beer on the waterfront.
