An epic trip to major sporting events throughout Europe & the USA

Day 66: France to Guernsey

We said goodbye to the Dallyns today and managed to get them together for a photo. They have been fantastic hosts taking us to interesting places and feeding us very well.

The Dallyns (Leo, Guy, Evelyne, Tom. Mattis)

We couldn’t leave before doing some chores.

Doing the cleaning to earn my keep

I also helped Tom out with his work.

Teaching Tom about the thorny world of finance

Guy then drove us to St Malo where we caught the ferry to the Channel Island of Guernsey.

We did an evening walk around the headland cliff with some great views over the town.

An interesting place that is part of the UK but most of the roads and places are French.

This day in sporting history (31 July)
