An epic trip to major sporting events throughout Europe & the USA

Day 45: Vienna

Vienna – wow! What a stunningly beautiful city. We did a very looong walk around because everywhere we turned there was another amazingly preserved beautiful old building or a pleasant park to wander through.

The photo below is just an example of buildings that are not special enough to get on any tourist map but are everywhere in the city.

Run of the mill Viennese buildings

I found some friends.

And got into nature.

A Thorny among the roses

We visited the Sigmund Freud museum which is where he lived and worked for most of his life. It was very interesting but now I’m not sure whether I need a lie down and talk to someone.

Just wandering through the city, we continually stumbled on to something.

Finished off in the State Hall of the Austrian Library which was so intricate and interesting.

So after 35,000 steps (Mamfa‘s biggest ever) and over 30kms, the day finished watching England at a fan live site get into the Euro final. Another long but fun day.
