Today was spent exploring the really interesting city of Tallin. The Old Town area has some fascinating buildings and viewpoints.

Outside the Old Town, there were also numerous interesting buildings, statues and street art and I even found a few friendly animals to say hello to.

The afternoon was spent at the Seaplane Harbour Museum which was really interesting with an old submarine, ice-sailing boats (which can get up to 150km/h), a seaplane and various interactive nautical displays. Mamfa was most impressed with the building itself – a series of concrete domes spanning 36m and only 80-150mm thick that was built in 1916 before anyone knew how to design something like that – amazing innovation and gutsy to do it.
