An epic trip to major sporting events throughout Europe & the USA

Day 79: Lisbon, Portugal

A quiet day today with a late start for a walk into Cascais for lunch.

Supervising building demolition

I had a quick ride on the carousel as well.

We then continued on to the Boca do Infermo (Mouth of Hell) which is supposedly much more impressive in heavy seas.

I also found a familiar face in our house but couldn’t get close enough for a selfie.

This day in sporting history (13 August)

1910 Brooklyn Superbas and Pittsburgh Pirates play “the game of perfect symmetry” in baseball to 8-8 tie, both have 8 runs, 13 hits, 2 errors, 12 assists, 5 strikeouts, 3 walks, 1 hit baseman, and 1 passed ball
