Today was a drive to Le Mont-Saint-Michel on the Normandy coast and a 3hr walk around the island town in the tidal flats. The guide was speaking French so Guy and Evelyne translated the interesting bits.

The sand was very funny to walk on and was like walking on a mattress in some spots. As you can see from the video below, it acts like quicksand as well.

I tried it out too.

We finished off with a great meal of moule frite (mussels and fries) for lunch.
