What a looong day. We rose at 3am to get to the bus transfer from Salzburg to the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix. We arrived at the track at 7:15 which seemed very early but the first race (Formula 3) was at 8:30.

There was a bit of oompah music to get the day underway.
The Formula 3 were first to hit the track and the top 15 stayed very close the whole race.
The track is a great setting in the woods with rolling hills so you can actually see quite a bit of the track from different viewpoints.

Next up were the Formula 2 which we watched from Turn 4.

Neil Diamond is still popular in Austria.
The support for Max Verstappen is crazy. There were two grandstands full of everyone in orange and a huge amount elsewhere.

The Porsche Cup was next which we watched from Turn 10 and then finally to our grandstand seat at Turn 9.

We were treated to some aerobatics before main race.
After the early start I needed a RedBull to keep me going.

The F1 race was unusually an entertaining race without Verstappen cruising to victory. Almost a win for Aussie Oscar Piastri but and enjoyable race with a bit of drama.

Arriving home at 10:30pm it was a very long but fun day.
