An epic trip to major sporting events throughout Europe & the USA

Day 29: Quedlinburg

A trip into rural Germany today with train ride to the pretty old village of Quedlinburg. It is supposedly one of the best preserved old villages in Europe and teeming with tourists but it was almost a ghost town on a Monday.

It seemed some people didn’t want tourists looking in their window.

We then took a short train ride and walk to Teufelsmauer (Devil’s Wall) so it was really my place. It was great to get out of the cities for a change and walk in nature. The rock formations were very interesting and a great view.

We also got to meet an Australian celebrity on the hill. Just happened to run into Scotty from Lego Masters. Mamfa recognised the voice first then the dreadlocks gave it away. He was very chatty and friendly.

After the walk I needed to cool off for a bit.
