An epic trip to major sporting events throughout Europe & the USA

Day 13: Cycle the Baltics Tour Day 3

Today we rode from Muskvere to Valnja mostly along Lake Peipus which is the border between Estonia and Russia. The morning ride was not that interesting along a highway but the afternoon was along local coast roads with some nice scenery and some stops at local castles and sights. We were that close to Russia that I could almost feel the data from Mamfa’s phone being sucked across the border for some crypto scam.

We finished the day in Estonia’s second largest city of Tartu. It has a great Old Town area with some interesting statues.

This day in sporting history (8 June)

2019 French Open Women’s Tennis: Ash Barty beats Marketa Vondousova 6-1 6-3 to win her first Grand Slam singles title.
